The Camper’s Code Alliance is a group of government agencies and NPOs representing outdoor recreation working together to educate the camping public how to behave responsibly when camping in British Columbia’s front and back country. The lead agency is the Camping and RVing BC Coalition.

Your privacy is important to the Camper’s Code which is funded and supported primarily by the Camping and RVing BC Coalition.

This policy tells you what information Camping and RVing BC Coalition gathers about you, how Camping and RVing BC Coalition would use it, to whom Camping and RVing BC Coalition may disclose it, how you can opt out of the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information, and how to get access to the information Camping and RVing BC Coalition may have about you.

Consumers often provide us with their contact information so that Camping and RVing BC Coalition can mail the Camper’s Code sticker or e-mail updates to them, which they have requested.

Camping and RVing BC Coalition will comply with all laws, which require us to supply the information to government agencies and others.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

Information will be held only as long as it is required to fulfil service obligations. Once information is no longer required it will be disposed of or made anonymous.

KEEPING INFORMATION SECURE

Camping and RVing BC Coalition endeavours to keep written information in a secure place. The office is locked and alarmed when closed. Information that is stored electronically, is password-protected and available only to those members of our staff who require it.

Camping and RVing BC Coalition is not responsible for the privacy policy and practices of the linked sites.
